Name: Adam Richardson
Team you support: Arsenal FC & Portsmouth FC
Affifiliated Grassroots Team: Tower Hamlets FC
Occupation: Football Secretary & Sales Assistant

How did you get into radio?
After doing some media courses at school/college, I went for a media training at East London Radio, and due to my involvement at Tower Hamlets, they offered me my own standalone show promoting the local football.

Favourite place to visit?
Outside London, it has to be Portsmouth, my family live down there and I love spending time in the city. Would recommend it in the summer it is amazing, especially in the Harbour area and of course not forgetting Southsea!

Favourite film?
Bruce Almighty

Last book you read?
I remember Jeff Stelling releasing a funny book about his tales on Soccer Saturday, my stepdad lent it to me, this was about 6 years ago. I tend to read newspapers and Twitter these days.

If you could go to dinner with any 3 people living or dead, who would it be and why?
1. My best friend Chelsea - she would be a laugh
2. My late twin sister
3. Jeff Stelling - he would have some stories

If you were stuck on a Desert Island for a week, name 3 things what would you have with you?
1. iPhone
2. Charger
3. Water

Most embarrassing moment?
It was at my Aunt's in Bethnal Green when England got knocked out of the 2010 World Cup, I thought she had left the patio door open, so I have gone to walk outside and walked straight into the door. Hit it so hard I flew over the other side of the room.

Best & worst football moments?
Has to the big derby wins. I love local derbies. My highlights are: Arsenal winning the league at White Hart Lane, THAT 5-2 comeback game against Tottenham, Portsmouth's 4-1 wins over Southampton in 2005 and 2010, not to mention David Norris' last minute volley at St Marys to rescue a point for Pompey, when that whole stand went absolute bonkers!
My 3 worst footie moments have to be 1) watching Portsmouth go through their two administrations and falling through the leagues. It's a club and a city close to my heart because of the family connection as people know, so it is a relief to see them out of debt and trying to rise again. 2) Spurs 5-1 Arsenal and 3) Arsenal blowing a 4-1 lead against them only for them to equalise in the 90th minute to make it 4-4.

Best football atmosphere?
Fratton Park - You cannot beat that atmosphere in any ground in this country. The game that stands out is when Pompey lost to Bournemouth in the FA Cup. Ok Pompey played really well but I have never seen an atmopshere like it, even when Bournemouth turned it around the crowd just didn't stop, the Fratton End was buzzing because it felt like the good times were back.

What do you like best about working in radio?
Giving a broadcasting and publicity outlet to the local teams and to the grassroots game locally which is in need of some coverage and publicity.

Peter Dudley:

Canary Pete has been a permanent fixture on the Grassroots Football Show since July, find out more about him here:

Name: Peter Dudley (aka Pedro or as Steve Porter from the ELR Sport Show likes to refer to me as 'Mr Essex')
Teams you support: Norwich City & Sunderland
Affiliated Grassroots Team: None now, but was Secretary of Southend Manor
Occupation: Accounts and IT Support for an Insurance Broker, also football reporter/writer and Co-Host on East London Radio's Grassroots Football Show

How did you get into radio?
My now co-host Adam Richardson got his own show (the Grassroots Football Show) a year or two ago and asked me to come on as a guest from time to time.  Eventually it was decided that I would become his new co-host and so at the start of this season I took up that role.

Favourite place to visit?
Norway/Sweden to see/stay with family.  My mother and brother both live on the outskirts of Stavanger in Norway and recently there has been a new addition to the family in the shape of my niece Cassandra who is ten months old and perfect.  So I enjoy going out there and chilling with the family.  My mum and step father also have a holiday home in Sweden so hence the Swedish connection too.

Favourite film?
Probably one of the Bond films, I'd say the best one I've seen is Casino Royale

Last book you read?
I don't really do reading so last books I read were over a decade ago now, Beckham's autobiography called 'My Side', and also 'Hulk', as I needed something to read whilst on holiday in Spain once so popped into a book shop there and bought that!!!

If you could go to dinner with any 3 people living or dead … who would it be and why?
To be honest there is one person I'd like to go to dinner with and that is my late father Nigel, who sadly died in 2008.  He was the man that got me into non league football and I'd of loved him to see what I do now as he would of loved it, I'm sure he is looking down from above though with a smile.  Dinner with him would be great though so we could discuss all the things I've been up to in the local game.

If you were stuck on a Desert Island for a week name 3 things you would have with you?
A boat to escape, some matches to light a fire to keep warm, and music to stir the soul

Most embarrassing moment?
Many involving too much drink that I won't go into!!!! Probably the most embarrassing moment at a football game was at Spa Road, Witham Town FC.  Me and my father did the programme for the club in the late 90s early 00s and at one such game the ball came to me over the wall into the terrace and I tried to be clever and flick it up and kick it back to the player who was waiting, sadly I only managed to kick it over the fence out of the ground!!! It was rather embarassing and made my mate chuckle quite a lot I can tell you!!!

What do you like best about working in radio?
The chance to get the word out there and to know that what you are talking about is listened to by others who are ,listening because they generally want to and are interested in what you have to say.  Seeing those viewing figures rise and having people come up to you and say what a good job you are doing really makes it worthwhile.

Best and worst football moments?
This is a tough one as I've been blessed with many good moments in football over my twenty odd years of watching it.  I guess the best moment would have to be seeing my beloved Norwich City win promotion to the Premier League back in the 2003-2004 season with the likes of Darren Huckerby charging down the wing and causing havoc to opposing defences.  My worst moment would probably be from this years Vase semi final and seeing Bowers & Pitsea go down to an injury time goal and seeing how upset they all were afterwards, it was a very emotional but proud day and one i'll never forget.

Favourite football atmosphere?
The best atmosphere I've experienced for myself is the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff with the roof closed during the 2002 Championship play off final between Birmingham City and Norwich City.  I have never known an atmosphere like it so I'd say that most probably.  The Nou Camp in Barcelona was also enjoyable but the atmosphere wasn't as good as what I experienced in Cardiff.

If you could go to dinner with any 3 people living or dead, who would it be and why?
Albert Einstein, Bobby Robson & Kylie Minogue all fascinate me in different ways

If you were stuck on a Desert Island for a week, name 3 things what would you have with you?

Most embarrassing moment?
Not embarrassed easily, can laugh about everything, laughing is my favourite thing,

Best & worst football moments?
Best: Winning the county cup with Barkingside in 2015, very special moment that will live with me forever
Worst: Losing, I hate losing, but the fact I can bounce back
